On a late July Sunday under sunny skies and high humidity and low bench numbers, the BeerLeague secured a 10-4 victory over Chedski. New England’s own, Andrew Blood score five goals to put the BLL over the top. Both goalies played well with the biggest differences to half-field outlet clears for the BeerLeaguers. There was even a post-game BBQ for all the league players and families. Can’t wait till next summer of Ulax in Olympia!

The Jets and Stars came for a shootout in the final game of the regular season. A stand-out performance from the Jets' Mitch Turley sealed the win, with Mitch netting a sock trick. Will Bonaparte of the Stars shone with a hat trick on the day and even with three other goal scorers, it wasn't enough to take the fuel out of the Jets' engines. The Jets take on Shake n' Bake next weekend for the Championship- who will go home with the ever coveted shirt and title of summer league champs?

The Red Hook Raiders took the field with the Cradle Rockers in the final game of the evening. The Raiders came out of the gate firing, winning the possession battle in the middle of the field and jumping out to an early lead. However, the Cradle Rockers came alive in the second half, cutting The Raiders lead in half. Scoring for The Raiders was led by Mike Mrzyglod (3g), with help from Gabe Gravino (2g) and Chase Fromson (2g), with Dom Zichelli (6 saves) anchoring the defensive end. For the Cradle Rockers, scoring was led by Broderick Sartor (2g, 2a) with Amani Raphael (3g) dropping a hat trick. Despite outstanding efforts from goaltender Theo Weidinger (9 saves) and his defense in front of him, the Cradle Rockers were unable to survive the first half onslaught of The Red Hook Raiders.

The Sharks came out firing and never let up in a dominant 10–2 win over the Beach Bums. From the opening whistle, the Sharks controlled the tempo, capitalizing on turnovers and finishing efficiently in transition. Their defense was just as impressive—physical, organized, and aggressive—holding the Beach Bums to just two goals all game. Goalie play was sharp, and the ride kept pressure on throughout. It was a complete performance from the Sharks, who continue to look dangerous down the stretch. Final Score: Sharks 10, Beach Bums 2

The Mild Cats took a commanding lead late into the second half behind a hat trick from Frank and 7 first half saves from Peake. The story of the night belongs to Works, who just had his third child, put away 4 goals, confirming that the baby bump is as real as ever. Mild Cats win 12-6 and secure the #2 seed in the playoffs next week.

Ghost Lacrosse faced off against the Bunyon Bandits in the Bandit's second game of the evening. Ghost Lacrosse was able to make a second half push to tie the game with under five minutes left, but the Bunyon Bandits were able to regain their lead in the waning moments of the contest. For the Bunyon Bandits, Sam Tomson (3g) extends his hat-trick streak to four games, while Jason Sichlau (2g) provided for the offense from the midfield. For Ghost Lacrosse, Lucas Dempsey (2g) led the way offensively with goalie Bryce Layton (6 saves) coming up with some critical saves late in the game.

The Slizzy Salamanders put on a clinic in a dominant 7–0 win over the Brewins, controlling every phase of the game from start to finish. The offense moved the ball with precision, striking early and often, while the defense was absolutely locked in—shutting down dodges, winning ground balls, and not allowing a single goal. The shutout was a full team effort, highlighted by a strong ride and standout goalie play. It was a statement win from the Salamanders as they hit their stride late in the season. It was a back and forth affair, but ultimately Ardell buried 6 goals for the Blue Ballers and Hollow had 17 saves to propel the Blue Ballers to the win and lock up the #3 seed in the playoffs next week.

Slide Method took on the Bunyon Bandits in the first game of the evening. This was a tight contest throughout, with the largest lead of the day being held by the Bunyon Bandits going in to half at 7-5. With the help of a few highlight reel goals from Brady Mann (4g, 1a) and Neal Brierley (2g), Slide Method was able to come back late in the game. The Bunyon Bandits were led in scoring by attackman Sam Tomson (4g) who was dominant from behind the cage.

The Gamecocks earned a solid 8–5 win over the Tropics in a physical, hard-fought matchup. After trading early goals, the Gamecocks pulled ahead in the second quarter and never looked back. In one last attempt to continue their winning legacy and enter the playoffs, the Chiefs under coach Howard Alperin brought out their best against the young and determined Red Rockets. At first, it seemed like the Chiefs had lost all hope, being down by three points in the first minutes of the game but they quickly rebounded leading to a tied match by halftime. Going into the second half the competition was fierce when J. Van Nostrand (#7) of the Red Rockets scored, giving his team a one point lead. Unfortunately fate and time were not on the Chiefs side, since the clock ran out on their chance to tie the game again.
